Not only was The European Artists B&B stunning, stylish, educational (we learned so much about amazing artists from different centuries!) and cozy, but Laure is an unbelievable woman and a beautiful host. For breakfast, you are welcome to choose from three delicious options (all cooked with love), there is an assortment of teas, coffee, homemade breads and jam, honey, and our favorite, Laure's revitalizing homemade juice.
Housekeeping at this B&B is impeccable. The rooms feel like a small art museum yet are very comfortable to sleep in and VERY clean. Each room features the work of a different artist with a biography of his or her life in addition to the works hung on the walls. Each room also has a different comfort feature. Mine had a claw foot bath tub under a window facing the mountains through which I saw many deer in the mornings. The common areas feature large windows which offer picturesque views of the mountains Vermont is so famous for. There are games, books and CDs which may be borrowed while staying here.
I'd highly recommend taking up Laure on her four course dinner - the ambiance and food were awesome. Thanks so much for the memorable experience Laure!
This place is amazing!!! Only 30 minutes from Burlington, it's located in a very quiet, very beautiful area of Vermont and offers something much better than an average, chain hotel.
We stayed two nights and felt like we were transported to an incredible European retreat. The views from the property are amazing!
The property on which the bed and breakfast resides is breathtaking. You can see trees and valley for miles and you're nestled by nature at its finest. My husband and I had the most relaxing and romantic time. We highly recommended a trip to The European Artists B&B!!
The European Artists Bed and Breakfast was the B&B my wife and I had been waiting for. We stayed one night in the Egon Schiele Room. The room creates a sense of romance. With a view of the prairie and Mt Mansfield from the bath, you are instilled with a feeling of peace. Laure is a great chef and a wonderful host. Laure has created a wonderful natural and romantic retreat in Vermont, which sparks creativity. My wife and I have stayed at 15-20 B&Bs and The European Artists Bed and Breakfast was by far the best. We will be back and look forward to another romantic and relaxing stay.
The owner of the establishment lives on site. She is an amazing chef and artist. The cuisine, decor and ambiance are very French with a hint of German.
This place was BEAUTIFUL. The couple who owns it are incredibly welcoming and cook beautiful breakfasts. The place is quiet and overlooks Mount Mansfield. Plus they have their own chickens!
If you're in the area for a night, week or month, the European Artists B&B is a must stay. Your experience is something you'll share with all of your friends and never forget yourself.
